Document Camera

When people/customers call to request a document camera, please try and get as much information as you can from them on how they plan to use it.

Information such as what they plan to use it to show and if they plan to use it in conjunction with other equipment will help us to decide if an equipment test time will need to be set-up among other things.

The comments line in the equipment order area of data sheet is not for directions for delivery or instructions for operator. Information like this needs to go in the booking notes area. If a staff member is to deliver, we need to know that too, most likely you would want to add an operator and indicate that the op is for set up. If a Media Tech staff person is to be assigned, you must first ask Alyson or Bruce who is available. If we take something, we have to think about how it is returned. In this case there was a lot to do because they also had a video camera and computer to hook up. There was only 10 minutes to set up. A test before the class date would have streamlined the set up because the CSS person would have known what to expect.
