Asset Status

The asset status is for describing the current state of the item. There are four statuses: active, inactive, pending, and retired. The general meaning of these statuses is:

  • active - The item is in usable condition, is installed or in an equipment pool and ready to be used, checked out, or otherwise utilized.
  • inactive - The item is out of service, in need of repairs, or otherwise not able to be utilized.
  • pending - The item is on order or otherwise not yet ready to use.
  • retired - The asset is no longer in CSS custody.
