  • Aboriginal art is famous for its strong designs and rich symbolic content. Depicts aboriginal art in a living context at Ruguri Cave where rock paintings of emu tracks are being explained to a young man for whom they have totemic significance. Other men of the tribe sing and dance the traditional accompaniment to this ritual. This is the only known film record of such an event and the painting itself is a striking example of aboriginal religious art. There is no spoken commentary on the ritual. English subtitles indicate the various stages of the ceremony.
