- (Nova series) Describes an experiment in Nigeria which allows Western physicians to work hand-in-hand with traditional healers. The West is learning about treating ailments with herbs and setting bones without the use of anesthesia or plaster casts. The traditional healers, on the other hand, are learning that diseases like diptheria and polio can be cured.
