- (Life on Earth series, Part 15) David Attenborough inspects the biggest deposit of dinosaur fossils in Utah. Bones from fourteen different species have been discovered in this specific quarry ranging from ancient reptiles the size of a chicken to those as mammoth as a house. The abrupt extinction of the dinosaur is attributed to severe change in climate. Only water reptiles like the crocodile survived the intense cold. The mating habits of the crocodile are examined as a source of information for dinosaur behavior.
