- One of the most important of all organizational skills is the manager's ability to delegate authority among those who work for him/her. Most of us can recall examples of improper and ineffectual delegating from our own experience; and the opposite, the department so over-delegated that its organizational structure verges on anarchy. Examines efforts and provides some basic steps that will aid the manager in easing his/her own workload, improving the finished product and building a stronger and more efficient department.
