  • (Written, directed and produced by Wendy Oberlander) Excavates one silent chapter from Canadian history, and records yet another unknown moment in the Jewish Diaspora of the twentieth century. Mixing personal narrative and historical documentary Wendy Oberlander traces her discovery of her fatherís wartime experiences. Exiled from Austria in 1938, interned in Britain and transferred to Canada in 1940, he was one of 2,200 Jewish refugees held behind barbed wire alongside Nazi POWs.
