• Provides a brief overview of the workings of the Port of Seattle. Few know that the Port is comprised of a number of facilities: Sea-Tac International Airport, the marine port on Puget Sound, the fishing home port at Fisherman's Terminal and the Shilsho Bay Marina, together with public warehousing. Washington is the #1 trade dependent state in the nation as well as being the premiere export state. The intergration of various moods of transportation affords business opportunities to companies around the world. Goods off of ships from the Orient are loaded onto planes bound for Europe and points in-between.
