The panelists discuss the results of the U.S.-Canada free trade agreement, the possible effects of the U.S.-Mexico free trade deal being negotiated, and the possibility of Canada becoming a participant in the negotiations. A giant North American free trade zone including Canada, the United States and Mexico may be required to compete with the European Economic Community and the newly reunited Germany.
