Date Rape*
- 1988 ----- color ----- 28 min ----- vhs
- The increasing number of reports of date or acquaintance rape presumably points, not to an increase of situations in which seemingly normal dates end in brutal rapes, but in an unwillingness of women to accept such brutalization. In this Phil Donahue program, two victims of date rape are joined by the director of the Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica, CA and Chicago psychiatrist, Helen Morrison, in discussions about the growing number of these rapes, the psychological trauma involved, and the social and legal difficulties this crime presents. (Funded by the Department of Psychology) (Restricted to use on University of Washington campuses only)
