- (Upon Reflection series) Host Marcia Alvar speaks with Daniel Chirot, author of Modern Tyrants: The Power and Prevalence of Evil in Our Age, and Professor of International Studies, University of Washington. He talks of the rise of modern tyrants who are easily hidden in our world. He discusses the problems in many Third-World countries and points out how they resemble and follow the dictates of people like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. He introduces the idea that these modern tyrants deny the facts of history and believe that the actions of Hitler were normal.
