- (Upon Reflection series) Host Marcia Alvar speaks with Milo Gibaldi, Dean, School of Pharmacy, University of Washington, about the world of antibiotics. He examines how well current prescription drugs are working and how natural resistance is pushing the search for new medicines. He also discusses the problem of politics as regards the researchers, the government and the medical profession and how this problem has kept many useful drugs (ie., RU487) out because of "controversial" marketing.
