- (Upon Reflection series) Host Marcia Alvar interviews Mel White, former pastor, filmmaker, and author. He speaks about his life and societal struggle as a homosexual. He talks about his book, Stranger at the Gate: To Be Gay and Christian in America, and discusses the turmoil he went through as a child and as a political speech for the "Religious Right." He focuses on how he learned to conquer stereotypes within the Christian community. Now at peace with God, he talks about his church and "out-loving the enemy."
