- Looks at Atlanta, Georgia--a city struggling to make a better society. Chosen as the sight of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games and often cited as America's most liveable city, Atlanta is also one of the poorest cities in the nation. In spite of the divisions within the city--rich and poor, black and white--Atlanta is a place where people are coming together to work for a better community. Includes comment from former President Jimmy Carter and Mayor Maynard Jackson, as well as civic leaders and community activists.
