- (Upon Reflection series) Host Marcia Alvar speaks with Terry Anderson, Associated Press correspondent, hostage, and author of Den of Lions: Memoirs of Seven Years. Mr. Anderson is joined by his wife, Madeleine Bassil, as they discuss their extraordinary commitment during his captivity and she did not speak out at the time. He discusses of the lack of knowledge the United States has about Lebanon. He speaks the phases he went through during his captivity and how he found inner peace. They talk about the U.S. State Department, the media, and their plans for the future.
