Dr. Nabokov discusses his editing of Native American Testimony, a collection of stories and tales, fact and fiction, from Native Americans in the United States. He relates the government's attempted destruction of the Native American culture through the Allotment Act and the Indian Reorganization Act. He explains the attempt to recover lost heritage and the importance of working to keep all cultures intact with the individual diversity and richness of each.
