- Looters and vandals are destroying archaeological sites all over the United States. Whether it's a Civil War battlefield or an ancient Indian burial site, we may be losing them forever. Visits sacred Indian sites in Oregon, New Mexico, Arkansas, California, and Texas where National Park Service Rangers examine and explain the acts of desecration for profit or through lack of care and knowledge. Shows the damage to the Civil War battlefields in Richmond, Virginia. Also shows how sites such as Chaco Canyon and Alexandria, Virginia can be saved by surveillance and public assistance.
