- (Upon Reflection series) Host Marcia Alvar speaks with Kenneth Good, anthropologist and author of Into the Heart: One Man's Pursuit of Love and Knowledge among the Yanomamo. They discuss the preparation that takes place before an anthropological field study, and the steps that Mr. Good took to integrate himself into the Yanomamo culture. Mr. Good also talks about the myth that the Yanomamo are a violent people, and about his relationship with, and eventual marriage to, Yarima of the Yanomamo tribe. Yarima is introduced, as Mr. Good discusses their plans to travel back to the village, and his predictions for the future of the Yanomamo Indians.
