- (Upon Reflection series) Host Marcia Alvar speaks with Arthur Grossman, Associate Dean for Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Washington and bassoonist in the Soni Ventorum. Professor Grossman relates the history of the world-famous wind quintet. They perform part of the "Beethoven Wind Quintet," opus 71. He is later joined by Professor Laila Storch, oboist with the quintet, as they discuss the new Arts Admission Requirement at the University of Washington. They perform part of the "Partita for Wind Quintet" by Irving Fine.
