- Presents a documentary record of the events in the Philippines in 1986, the struggle between a twenty year-old martial-law machine and a people's discontent. Beginning with the murder of Benigno Aquino, Jr. and ending with the Marcos fleeing the country, it provides background information on the Marcos regime and shows the massive popular demonstrations that led to his ouster and the rise to power of Corazon Aquino. Shows the unification of popular opinion including elements of the military and the Roman Catholic Church which led to non-violent confrontation after a fraudulent election managed by the supports of a corrupt government.
