Clorae and Albie
- 1976 ----- color ----- 37 min ----- 16mm
- Follows the lives of Clorae and Albie, two young black women who have been friends since high school. While they remained friends, their lives took very different directions: Clorae got married; Albie went to work. Shows the need for young women to grow up assuming that they will be supporting themselves whether they marry or not; they have options with regard to education and careers. Other issues include: even when women do not have to work for financial reasons, they often find that they want to work and must work for psychological ones; it is never too late to make a change or to begin working toward a career; even great obstacles to self-determination can be overcome.
