An animated film without narration that tells about an owl who falls in love with a goose. Although their habits are strange to each other, they set out to share their lives and their love. The owl tags along with the mother goose as she teaches her goslings to survive. When the goose must obey nature and fly south with the flock, the owl has trouble keeping up with her. When the geese light on a lake to rest, the owl, who cannot swim, plummets to the bottom.
