- In hospitals and chemical dependency treatment centers, the spiritual self-help concept of Alcoholics Anonymous is essential to any recovery program for alcoholism. It is, in fact, a model for therapeutic programs for all drug dependencies. Presents a series of questions about AA and, through dramatized sessions, shows a newcomers meeting, a typical open meeting and a closed meeting. Strong emphasis is placed on family involvement and support. Reinforces the concept of the Twelve Steps providing the spiritual awakening necessary for the most successful road to recovery.
