Affectionately known as the Fundi, a Swahili word for a person who passes on skills from one generation to another, this former friend and advisor to Reverend Martin Luther King was instrumental in organizing and bringing direction to the era's civil rights efforts. Includes interviews with James Foreman, Julian Bond and Stokely Carmichael.
