- Vladimir Vysotsky has been compared to both John Lennon and Bob Dylan, but his fame and popularity is still something very Russian. A folk singer and a folk hero Vysotsky has gained a position in all layers of Soviet society like almost no one else in recent times. The Vysotsky myth and phenomenon is detailed in this production through scenes from his funeral, interviews with his admirers and many of his colleagues. Shows footage from concerts and an interview.
