Child, Part 1: Jamie, Ethan, Marlon; the First Two Months

- Provides a close-up view of the growth and development of three infants from the time of their birth to the time they are two months old. Immediately following birth, Jamie is examined by a physician who explains each procedure he performs in order to make certain that the child is physically sound and healthy. The infants are observed regularly in their home environments with various developmental changes pointed out. Perhaps the most important gains made by the three babies in their first two months are those of human relationship. They have come to recognize the all-important voice, smell and touch of those who care for them.
