On Becoming a Woman: Mothers and Daughters Talking Together

• A discussion group of black mothers and daughters talk about important topics which all women encounter during the various stages of their lives. Part 1: menstruation and how it affects the life of young women. Part 2: sexual intimacy and contraception. Aided by the use of real human nude models, the female and male anatomy are discussed. The consequences and risks of sexual intercourse are dealt with in full detail. Part 3: a discussion of the importance of communication between a mother and her daughter and the importance of mother/daughter relationships.
