Adolescence: A Case Study

- Explores the psycho-social development of one 17-year-old girl. Angie has reached the advent of formal thinking skills and yet, as several vignettes show, she is so preoccupied with herself, her relationships and her immediate future that performance of intellectual tasks often seems remote and inconsequential. Because of these distractions the high school and college years are a poor time for formal education.
