- (Directed by Federico Fellini) Fellini interviews clowns of international and even legendary repute, recording some of their finest performances. On one level, Fellini's flamboyant exploration of circus life is a nostalgic look at a disappearing art. On another level, the film is an allegory where the world is a circus and we are its clowns.
