- Introduces this television series of 43 basic skills programs designed to help adults pass the GED test, a nationally recognized examination. Those who pass the test receive a certificate accepted as the equivalent to a high school diploma. The overall objective of the GED Series is to help students develop skills in reading comprehension, writing and mathematics. This program explains the entire series and tells how to use the television programs and workbook chapters as integrated units.
