Advances in the Understanding of Weather Systems, a Satellite Summary (SMS-1 and SMS-2 1975)

- Presents the structure and evolution of weather systems based on imagery obtained from the Synchronous Meteorological Satellites, SMS-1 and SMS-2. Features a selection of sequences illustrating the capabilities of these satellites for providing data for weather analysis and forecasting purposes. Some unique animation techniques are used to highlight the meteorological phenomena which includes examples of hurricanes, fog and stratus, air pollution and severe storms.
