Gelatinous Marine Zooplankton

- Presents a variety of taxa of gelantinous marine zooplankton in their natural habitat--the open sea. Includes a real-time sequence of a larvacean (appendicularian) filter feeding and then abandoning and rebuilding its house, close up sequences of salps and pteropods swimming and feeding, swimming behavior of lobate and tentaculate ctenophores, diagrams and footage of the major families of siphonophores and a discussion of medusae including footage of Aequorea, Aurelia and Mastigias.
