Cell Division: Mitosis and Meiosis

- Three-dimensional computerized animation allows observation of the important molecular changes occurring within a cell during mitosis. Also, creation of a haploid cell through meiosis and first and second meiotic divisions and the formation of sperm cells are shown in time-lapse photography. Cinemicroscopy is used to show the union of sperm and egg as well as the subsequent divisions of the fertilized egg.
