- The experience of being inside a Zen Buddhist temple is shown: the daily life of the abbot, his family and students; the participation of those attached to the temple as believers; ancient Buddhist chanting, classes in Confusian analects and zazen; the repair of the temple and two rare ceremonies performed only once in three or four hundred years.
