- Shot on the actual construction site, the sequential steps and techniques involved in wooden frame construction are clearly illustrated. Starting with the installation of wood sills and floor joists, it goes on to show the completion of the first floor deck, the framing and tiping up of 2x4 stud walls, installation of ceiling joists and roof rafters, plywood sheathing of roof and walls, tar papering, window installation, siding with clapboards and application of asphalt roof shingles.
