- Adolescent pregnancy poses serious health risks to both mother and baby. The pregnant adolescent is not only vulnerable to the risks that face all pregnancies, but also to the special hazards created by her own immaturity. Follows one girl, Peggy, through her experience of pregnancy, birth and the first year with her child. After a year of frustration, she feels she has only a part of her baby now. Early parenthood has brought helplessness and defeat rather than fulfillment.
