Wheelin' Steel
- 1981 ----- color ----- 58 min ----- vhs
- Focuses on the 25th National Wheelchair Games held June 17-21, 1981, at the University of Washington, Seattle. Some 350 athletes, qualifying in seven events--track, field, swimming, weight-lifting, archery, table tennis and slalom--competed in the games. While the film is a composite experience of what transpired over the five days of competition, it focuses on six of the major athletes showing how Wheelin' Steel is more than a film title. It is also a philosophy and this presentation is aimed at opening viewers' minds and changing their attitudes about wheelchair athletics and those who compete in them.
