Wataridore: Birds of Passage

• A biographical account of three Japanese-American older people, given in an effective manner which sensitizes the audience and provides a solid base of knowledge with which to better understand the Nissei (first generation Japanese in America). As the continuity of their lives is portrayed, it is evident that the strength and pioneer spirit that enabled them to immigrate to and survive in a hostile foreign land also equips them in their later years.
