Village of My An, The (1881-1981)

- Traces the life of a peasant community in Vietnam over the last hundred years of social and political upheaval. Events are presented as they affected a large segment of the rural population. Portrays the villager's way of life, the reasoning behind their political choices and the three decades of hardship and conflict. This is a representative depiction of a Vietnamese rural community constructed from historical and ethnographic accounts of village life and is based entirely on historical records.
