Understanding the Gifted

- Observes gifted children ranging from the fourth through the twelfth grades, using techniques of interview and group discussion among the children. Various positive characteristics of the gifted are examined: their ability to handle symbols and generalizations, their creativeness, the frequent multiplicity of interests and the high ideals and values so often found amongst them. Negative traits are also discussed.
