Two Cities: London and New York

• Despite their roles as international cultural and trading centers, New York and London are sharp counterpoints in the study of urban living. New York is a city in motion where construction machines are continuously building, tearing down and rebuilding the city, with little or no thought for living space. London, on the other hand, is made for people. It is a city of flower gardens and greenery where land use and population growth are controlled. Focuses on public housing, transportation and entertainment.
