Tacoma Narrows Bridge Failure

• Photographs showing the construction and opening day ceremonies and then the movements of the bridge that led to its collapse. Scale models made later by the Engineering Experiment Station at the University of Washington show the identical movements when subjected to stresses duplicating those which caused the bridge collapse.
