- In sixty years the Soviet Union has evolved from a predominately peasant culture to one of city dwellers, although the centuries-old village traditions and customs still leave visible traces in the new Soviet culture. Presents three Russian city dwellers, each symbolic of a type of Russian worker: a trolleybus driver in Moscow, the foreman of a gang of dockworkers in the Black Sea port of Odessa and the Head Doctor of the Steelworkers' Sanatorium in Sochi on the "Russian Riviera."
