- Shows that much progress has been made over the past twenty years in furnishing better consumer goods to the Russian city dweller, but not to the peasant. Markets and stores are shown with fresh fruit, meat, clothing, television sets; all available at high prices. Other items are cheap--potatoes, cabbage and bread. And rent is surprisingly low for a new two room apartment, if you can get one.
