- 1924 ----- b & w ----- 15 min ----- 16mm
- This famous abstract film by the distinguished painter, Fernand Leger, employs a minimum of drawn or painted geometrical forms and a preponderant amount of photographic images. Shows the influence of Freudian theory on film makers of the 20's as the obvious sexual symbolism of some of the objects gives the film an outrageous humor. Cinematography by Man Ray. (NOTE: Film should be projected at silent speed, ie. 18 frames/second.) (Restricted to use at the Educational Media Collection only)
