Restless Earth: Evidence from Ancient Life

- Relationships between the evolution of plant and animal life and the history of our changing earth are examined. Plant life on earth may date as far back as 3400 million years and some species of worms are known to be 600 million years old. Living things changed considerably when continents last came together into one large mass. Dinosaurs emerged at this time but became extinct when this supercontinent broke apart. It was during the last ice age that man emerged.
