Bakuba: People of the Congo

- The Bakuba tribe of Kasai Province in the Congo has produced some of the best crafts of the Congo. Examples of their rich cultural tradition of crafts and decorations are shown: woven mats, velvets, embroideries, ceremonial costumes, ritual tools and drums, statuary and carvings of the heads of ancient kings, symbols used in tattooing, as well as belts and costumes.
