- In Old Delhi, India, 21-year-old university student, Rana, is filmed in her daily activities as she explains about her family's way of life and local customs. Her family is of strong Moslem faith that calls for strict separation of the sexes outside the home, women only leave the home in groups of two or more and always wear veils over their faces. In an interview together, father and daughter reveal local customs concerning courtship. Presents a revealing study of life in a Moslem community in India through the eyes of a young woman.
