- As a young artist prepares for his first one-man show, he struggles to complete a painting of his grandfather. As he works he reflects on his childhood and how his grandfather influenced his life. At the opening of his show his mother sees the portrait for the first time. Not only is she moved by the love in the portrait, she realizes that she has been unable to express her emotions nor has she ever understood how much her own father meant to her eldest son. Presents the picture of a mother and son able to communicate their feelings for the first time.
