Photosynthesis - Purple Bacteria: Photosynthesis without Oxygen

- Shows accumulation of motile, anaerobic, purple-sulfur bacteria, Chromatium and Thiospirillum in photosynthetically active wave lengths of light. Shows that photosynthesis in these bacteria does not involve oxygen evolution by demonstrating their movement away from oxygen but towards each other in the light.
